The World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) CS:GO tournament is starting today, but already the competition has caught the headlines after a number of players have been reporting sub-par living conditions in their hotels, ranging from brown water to cockroaches, and now WESG has responded to the complaints on Twitter.
"We regret to be informed of poor living conditions at the players' hotel. The issues are serious and we are taking measures to rectify the problems. We sincerely apologize for the living conditions," WESG writes, with the statement below that they are looking to resolve the issues and explore other options if that's not possible.
According to player Oscar 'Mixwell' Cañellas on Twitter it seems as if measures have already been taken, as he claims the players have been moved to three different hotels, all of which are better than those with issues.
