It has been revealed by the Russian esports organisation Virtus.pro that it has extended its partnership with the automotive brand Haval, with the pair now set to be working together for the duration of 2022.

Revealed in a brief blog post, we're told that the deal has been expanded so that Haval will now be representing each of Virtus.pro's first rosters, alongside continuing to support live esports in Russia and the CIS region.

"Both Virtus.pro and HAVAL are results-oriented enterprises that aren't afraid of taking chances every now and then. That is why we are so delighted to see the growth in brand recognition for HAVAL among the esports fans," said Virtus.pro's CEO, Sergey Glamazda.

"It's no coincidence that we are expanding our partnership now. We are already working on a lot of interesting new projects and HAVAL is the partner we want to go forward with."

There's no mention of the financials of the deal, or likewise any plans to continue the deal further into 2023 or beyond.
