It's a hot time for tech right now with the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) taking place this week, and Razer has just revealed the Raptor, their new 27" HDR gaming monitor with RGB lightning and integrated cable management.
The monitor also sports a 144Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time IPS Panel with thin 2.3 mm Bezels. Freesync and WQHD resolution is also a part of the package, and the colour gamut will be 95% of PCI-P3.
The design is supported by a "forged aluminum base" in matte black, combined with LED strips in the base. The connections can be accessed by tilting the monitor 90 degrees, and consist of 1x HDMI, 1x USB-C, DisplayPort (1.4 we assume), and 2x USB 3.1.
"Razer has worked alongside partners in the past to bring the Razer experience to monitors, but the full potential was never fully realized. We have decided to tackle this space on our own and are very excited to expand our presence to include desktop displays," says CEO and Co-found Min-Liang Tan.
We can expect the monitor "later this year" although we don't have a price. That said, Razer products rarely come cheap, and for more on the monitor check out the official website.
