Evil Geniuses has released Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 champ NYChrisG after inappropriate comments he made on Facebook in 2017 have come to light.
Among other offensive statements, NYChrisG posted on Facebook " Black female gamers suck". Evil Geniuses had zero tolerance for this behavior and issued the following statement on Twitter after letting the pro-player go: "We at EG value each member of our community, and have zero tolerance for harassment. After investigation, it was evident that Chris' statements, though made in 2017, continue to have real, harmful impact in our community."
This follows after Evil Geniuses also severed its ties with Dota 2 caster GranDGranT as allegations of sexual harassment started to circulate across Twitter.
