The American-based esports organisation Team Envy has announced the renewal and extension of a partnership with Acer that will see all of Envy's competitive teams "exclusively" outfitted by Acer.

The sponsorship that started in 2019, has now been extended to include Envy's franchised teams, such as the reigning Call of Duty League champions, Dallas Empire, and the Dallas Fuel Overwatch League team. Each of Envy's teams will be provided with the latest Acer Predator gear, "including monitors, laptops, desktops and more."

"Acer and the Predator gaming brand have been heavily invested in esports and we've both enjoyed the successes of our partnership since first working with them in 2019," said Shay Butler, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Envy Gaming. "We have a reputation for giving the best to our players, and providing the right equipment is an important part of that. Partnering with Predator allows our teams to compete at the highest level."

Acer has also pledged its support to the recently created Envy Foundation, an organisation that aims to bring people and communities together via gaming-based initiatives. As part of its pledge, Acer will become the presenting sponsor of the Envy Foundation Esports in Education Grant Program to help underserved schools in Texas who are looking to build an esports team.

No word has been mentioned on the financials of the deal, but you can read more about the partnership at the link above.
