The PGL Major in Krakow has just wrapped up, seeing Gambit Esports lift the title, and if a report by HLTV is to be believed, the next Major won't be until 2018.

The same report also suggests that Valve has asked a number of tournament organisers to submit proposals for the next major, including StarLadder, DreamHack, PGL, Eleague, and ESL, who will all compete for the chance to host it.

HLTV also say that Valve has confirmed to them that this Major, the 12th in Counter-Strike's competitive history, is likely to be held in either January or February, depending on things like organisers and venues.
