A CS:Go team recruits a former cheater

The announcement created an ongoing controversy ...

HQ

Vexed, a French team, present on Counter Strike: Global Offensive, announced on Monday via a post on its blog, that Hovik "KQLY" Tovmassian, a player used to LDLC and Titan, joined their team. The problem is that KQLY was banned from Valve tournaments in 2014 after cheating and the announcement led the community and team players to react in a negative way. While some like EX6TenZ (member of LDLC) preferred to react sarcastically, jarod and smily two players of the French squad refuse to play with KQLY.

Vexed will not be able to participate in Valve competitions who do not wish to see any cheater or former cheater in its tournaments. It is an even bigger issue for sponsors. One may wonder which brand will accept to sponsor a team with a member with such a bad image? De do not have the answer for the moment, but the controversy still rages.
