With three weeks to go before DreamHack Summer opens its doors, DreamHack has revealed the names of half the teams that will compete in the Counter-Strike tournament at the event.

Given that the event is hosted in Sweden, it's not surprising that half of the teams revealed so far are from the home turf. Leading up the pack is Ninjas in Pyjamas, arguably the best team on the Swedish scene right now. After their win at DreamHack Masters Malmö in April and their continued form, the team's struggles in 2015 seem like a distant memory.

Joining them are their fellow Swedes from Godsent, who also made a big impact at DreamHack Masters Malmö, making it to the semifinals.

Danish team Astralis will pop up to Jönköping to keep the good old Denmark-Sweden rivalry intact. They'll definitely be looking for revenge, seeing as how Ninjas in Pyjamas eliminated the Danes from the group stage at DreamHack Masters Malmö - the first finish outside of top 8 that Astralis' then-current lineup had ever had.

Rounding out the list is Brazilian squad Tempo Storm, the second best team currently playing out of the US, topped only by Major champions Luminosity Gaming.

With three out of the four teams revealed so far being top 10 teams according to the HLTV ranking - and all four of them being top 10 teams according to Thorin's power rankings - DreamHack summer has the makings of a very exciting tournament indeed.

Two more teams will be invited to the tournament, while the last to spots will go to teams who qualify through the open qualifiers happening this weekend and next week. There's a total of $100,000 on the line.

DreamHack Summer also hosts tournaments in Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, Mortal Kombat XL, Street Fighter V, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Smite and Paladins. Moreover, the Swedish Championships in Counter-Strike, Starcraft and Counter-Strike are also held at the event.

Ninjas in Pyjamas are headed back to DreamHack.
