The esports organisation Dignitas has announced that it has entered into a partnership with Zytara Labs, making the company its official playing cards and NFT partner. The deal will see Dignitas and Zytara working together to produce a range of cards and NFTs as part of its DigitalBits protocol, as the esports team looks to commemorate players and events.

Set to be a multi-year partnership, the deal will also see the pair collaborate on a variety of activations across social media and Twitch to further drive engagement for the pair.

"NFTs are the logical next step for esports teams, and we are excited to be leading this emerging wave in the gaming industry," said John Spiher, Vice President of Partnerships at Dignitas, "We look forward to working alongside Zytara Labs to create innovative fan opportunities to collect and trade our new playing cards and other NFTs."

As Zytara Labs is looking to launch its NFT platform in Q3 2021, we can likely expect this range of cards and NFTs to become available around the same time. To get an idea of what is planned, you can take a look at an item below.
