Gfinity has just announced that Spanish esports team ASUS ROG Army is joining the Gfinity Elite Series tournament for Season 4, starting next month where nine teams will battle it out across multiple games, including Fnatic, Renault Vitality, and Nordavind, all of which were champions last season.

ASUS ROG Army was formed in 2016 and has a new FIFA team including Fernando 'Ferperry' Martínez, who qualified for the eWorld Cup play-offs. What's more is that they also have a strong social media persence and a fanbase in the PC hardware world too.

Ruben Ripoll, esports Director at ASUS ROG, said: "We are extremely excited to join the Gfinity Elite Series. The tournament has already proved itself to be one of the best in the world and we look forward to taking part and ultimately coming out on top. Our fanbase is growing massively so we thought it was about time we showcased our unique style on the global stage."

Bryan Healy, Chief Strategy Officer for Gfinity, added: "Esports is growing massively in Spain and Spanish speaking countries so we are excited that ASUS ROG is joining our ranks. The team has signed some top players and they will be a force to be reckoned with from week one."

Is ASUS ROG a good addition to the competition?
