Today marks the official opening day for the premier League of Legends: Wild Rift Icons Global Championship tournament. Bringing the best teams from all over the world together for a chance to compete for a share of a $2 million prize pool and also for the title of champion for this year of competition, the event actually kicks off in around one hour, when JD Gaming faces STMN Esports.
To mark the beginning of this very tournament, as Riot does with the League of Legends World Championship, it has released a song and an accompanying music video to hype up the event. The song is called Never Stop Me, and has been written by BloodPop and Tkay Maidza, and you can check it out below.
As for how long the Icons Global Championship will last, the event is set to conclude with a grand final on July 9. Be sure to tune into the action here.
