Riot Games has announced that the League of Legends European Championship's (LEC) Summer Season will in fact feature a live audience when it returns next week. As announced in a new blog post, we're told that the Berlin studio, which houses the LEC, will be opening its doors to fans over the ten-week competitive season, and that tickets for the Summer Season will be going on sale today, June 10.

It is said that the live events will include ways for attending fans to purchase drinks and beverages, but that fans will need to wear a mask when not eating or drinking, as a health and safety measure.

As for when the LEC's Summer Season does kick off, the first week, which is a Super Week crammed with tons of games, is set to start on June 17.
