Despite being the team to beat for the majority of 2021 in the Valorant Champions Tour, Sentinels has struggled to carry that same success into 2022, and failed to attend the same Reykjavik Major that it won last year.
To this end, it looks like Sentinels are making some changes to the team and the active roster as the team has announced that Jared "zombs" Gitlin has been moved to the bench, and that it has acquired Eric "Kanpeki" Xu from Akrew.
Several members of that original, dominant Sentinels team are still part of the active roster, but you have to think that if this roster move fails to bring more success, then other changes will be on the horizon.
