Team Vitality has won the French Valorant Open Tour

The team defeated Alliance to take the top spot.
Ben Lyons Senior Editor 29 Novembro 2021

This weekend marked the conclusion of the French Valorant Open Tour, a tournament that brought the best teams from all over France to compete in Riot's premier tactical shooter for a share of a €20,000 prize pool.

With the tournament actually kicking off on November 20, the event saw teams knocked out until two teams to compete in the finals had been decided, and those very teams ended up being Team Vitality and Alliance.

The actual finals series saw the two slugging it out in a best-of-five match, where despite the series being quite the close one, there was never any need to go to the final map as Vitality managed to defeat Alliance in a 3-1 match.

The victory saw Vitality take home €8,000 in prize money, and set the organisation up as the Valorant team to beat in France. We'll have to see whether the team can carry this momentum forward into the next season of the Valorant Champions Tour, which we'll no doubt hear more about when the Valorant Champions 2021 event concludes in a couple of weeks.
