The question about esports being in the Olympics have been ongoing for a while, with the Asian Games including them and discussions still ongoing about whether to take that further, but now The Straits Times reports that the SEA Games may be next.
There was a SEA Games Federation meeting in Manila yesterday where a record 56 sports were confirmed for the games, running from November 30 to December 10, split into three categories. In the 'Regional/New Sports' section we have esports, and while it's not specific as to what game, we can imagine it'd be the same non-violent options as we've seen before, like Pro Evolution Soccer.
