The H1Z1: King of the Kill Elite Series starts this weekend at DreamHack Atlanta, as we know from the announcement in June, featuring one event for teams of five and one for solo players, and the combined prize pool will total £250,000 USD.

In terms of teams, 24 teams of five will compete in qualifiers, including big names like Echo Fox and Panda Gaming, and the top seven teams will join the top finishers from Fight for the Crown, which were Counter Logic Gaming, Obey Alliance, World Best Gaming, Denial Esports, and Luminosity Gaming, in the finals to compete for their slice of $250,000.

In solo, however, 120 players from over 13 countries in solo qualifiers will battle for a spot in the finals, where the 40 best performers will join 20 pre-selected individuals in the solo tournament finals, with shares of $100,000 up for grabs.

The action starts today, with solo qualifiers starting at 19:00 BST and running until 23:00, and team qualifiers will take place the same time tomorrow, with solo finals happening at 03:00 BST Sunday. Team finals will then wrap up the event at 17:00, and if you're interested in spectating the event, you can watch all this go down on Twitch.
