The Call of Duty World League, or CWL, as presented by PlayStation 4, will be heading to Texas for the CWL Dallas Open on March 17, with $200,000 US dollars and spots in the CWL Global Pro League up for grabs.

176 teams from around the world will compete for the chance to be in the Open, as hosted by MLG, including teams from North America, Europe, and APAC for the first time. These will be narrowed down to 16 teams who will then compete in pool play, with 160 spots for teams to compete in open brackets as well, one of the largest open brackets in Call of Duty history. The top four teams from the winners' bracket will then join pool play on the tournament's second day, and the final teams will then compete against each other on March 19.

The Dallas Open is the final event for teams to earn CWL Pro Points to qualify for stage one of the Global Pro League, which will begin on April 20 and see 16 teams from across the world compete for the grand prize. The Anaheim Open on June 16 to 18 will allow players to qualify for stage 2, however, with the bottom four teams from stage 1 facing teams from regional qualifiers, determining the last four teams of the 16 to compete in stage 2.
